Am I going to loose my validation node if I don’t extend maintenance fees?
No. We backup all validation node keys, so we can always restore your node.
Can I prolong maintenance on my validation node?
You can extend maintenance of a node at any time using this link.
How long does it take for validation node to become synced with network (bootstrapped) and available for validation?
Normally we have a few nodes ready for validation at anytime, but it could take up to 48 hours if there aren’t any.
What happens if I forget to extend maintenance fees?
We will not shut down your node immediately after maintenance fees expire, normally we will wait a few days if you decide to prolong maintenance. We will also send you an e-mail one week before expiration.
What do you mean by “Money back guarantee”?
If your node doesn’t receive rewards at the end of validation cycle, we’ll refund all potential AVAX rewards and fees already paid for that that validation period.
When do you charge setup fee?
Setting up a validation node requires manual intervention, so we decided to add an extra fee for basic plans, since our monthly fees are so low. Setup fee is only charged when a new validation node is created. If you are extending an active node, only monthly fees will be charged.
